[Ami shows up within a few minutes. She didn't pack light, either - by now she's already been back to her house, cleaned herself up, and packed up some additional supplies for the rest of her trip. So she's got not only her backpack, but a good-sized gray duffel bag as well, and they're both somewhat overstuffed. Her lusus has her service dog vest as usual, but Ami's also picked up a backpack for dogs on the way here and has it slung awkwardly over her shoulder.
[She tosses one of her bags onto the other booth seat, and raises a hand to one of said horns. She's still not exactly used to the feeling of having them, or to the looks she got on the way here, and although she's making an effort, there's definitely some self-consciousness in the way she looks for his reaction.]
[To be fair, that is absolutely everyone's first impulse. So good on him for asking, at least! Ami thinks about it for a second, then realizes she has an opportunity here.]
[He is a considerate person! Or at least he knows how annoying it is to have people touch you without asking. But at that offer? He doesn't hesitate in pulling off his glove to show his deformed hand, holding it out]
[This is actually the closest-up she's seen his arm, now that she thinks of it. He's almost always got the glove on, and there's a lot of detail there that she's never really noticed before. She takes his hand with both of hers, gently for now, just getting a feel for the texture. It's like hardened leather, tough and inelastic, and not quite as warm as she expected.]

[Funny how even after months and months, she can't help but find it fascinating. The first time they ever talked was about this arm, wasn't it? ... She notices the faint green glow on the back of his hand, too, and leans in for a better look, pointing to it.]
[ He meanwhile does his best to hold still. It feels a little weird having someone else touch the arm, almost no one ever does unless there's gloves on. At least it's clear that Ami's fascinated, and not in a bad way. And he trusted her enough to believe that was her honest opinion. ]
Think it might be the power source of the Innocence, but I'm not sure.
